For the Filipino and English text, the recommended storyreading age is years old.
Since Alamat ng Ampalaya was published, Augie has written more than 15 stories for children and has repeated won recognition from the Carlos Palanca Memorial Awards for Literature. This was my favorite Adarna book. It reminds me of many folktales with a cautionary tale of greed.
